Known as a city never ashamed to show its personality, expressions of public art can be found throughout the city. Japanese Tea Garden

Located within historic Golden Gate Park, the Japanese Tea Garden provides a glimpse into a different era of San Francisco with its historic architecture, sculptures, and tea, of course. Initially designed by renowned landscape designer Makoto Hagiwara in 1894 for the World Fair, the Japanese Tea Garden went through a massive redesign in 1952 to represent serenity after World War II. This is a must visit while in San Francisco.
